What is
The VHS Society?

The Variety Horror Screenings Society is a Horror Movie Club created for Horror fans by Horror fans, with monthly in-person screenings in Los Angeles, CA.

Born from a love of 80s aesthetics, practical effects, and late-night movie marathons, The VHS Society is where horror heads come to hang out and celebrate the genre that never dies.

Our events typically feature a fan-favorite or cult-classic horror film, alongside a showcase of independent horror shorts, music videos, or what-have-you, giving all kinds of filmmakers and artists more eyes on their work. Plus, we're all about community: with horror vendors, photo ops, trivia, and more, it beats watching a movie by yourself at home.

Horror is best watched with a crowd!
